New York governor signs law approving gay marriage

Note: This is very, very sad!!!  Yahweh opposes same sex relationships - Romans 1.

 

I pray that Yahweh/God Almighty would have mercy on these people as He says He relents to send His wrath and that people should repent, turn back to Yahshua/Jesus and His Word.  As He judged Sodom and Gamorah, He will judge our generation.  He is slow to wrath and anger, abounding in love but as all the stories in the Bible reveal, sooner or later He does pass His Judgements on nations. 

 

He is the Aleph and the Tav, the Beginning and the End and He is coming back to set up His Kingdom after He has purged this earth of all wickedness.  Yahweh will not be mocked.  Why must you o wicked and perverse generation mock Yahweh?  Yahweh/God says, come, let us reason together, turn from your wicked ways that I may heal you and your land!  That is why Yahshua/Jesus made away of escape, dieing on the cross of calvary for the forgiveness of sin, to wash away the old so that we can be made new.  In Yahshua/Jesus we are saved from the wrath that is to come! ALBANY, New York (Reuters) – Governor Andrew Cuomo made same-sex marriages legal in New York on Friday, a key victory for gay rights ahead of the 2012 presidential and congressional elections.

New York will become the sixth and most populous U.S. state to allow gay marriage. State senators voted 33-29 on Friday evening to approve marriage equality legislation and Cuomo, a Democrat who had introduced the measure, signed it into law.
"This vote today will send a message across the country. This is the way to go, the time to do it is now, and it is achievable; it's no longer a dream or an aspiration. I think you're going to see a rapid evolution," Cuomo, who is in his first year of office, told a news conference.
"We reached a new level of social justice," he said.

Same-sex weddings can start taking place in New York in 30 days, though religious institutions and nonprofit groups with religious affiliations will not be compelled to officiate at such ceremonies. The legislation also gives gay couples the right to divorce.
"I have to define doing the right thing as treating all persons with equality and that equality includes within the definition of marriage," Republican Senator Stephen Saland said before the bill was passed. He was one of four Republicans to vote for the legislation.
Cheers erupted in the Senate gallery in the state capital Albany and among a crowd of several hundred people who gathered outside New York City's Stonewall Inn, where a police raid in 1969 sparked the modern gay rights movement.

"It's about time. I want to get married. I want the same rights as anyone else," Caroline Jaeger, 36, a student, who was outside the Stonewall Inn.
But New York's Catholic bishops said they were "deeply disappointed and troubled" by the passage of the bill.
"We always treat our homosexual brothers and sisters with respect, dignity and love. But we just as strongly affirm that marriage is the joining of one man and one woman," the state's Catholic Conference said in a statement.
New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, an advocate for gay marriage who lobbied state lawmakers in recent weeks, said the vote was an "historic triumph for equality and freedom."
"Together, we have taken the next big step on our national journey toward a more perfect union," he said in a statement.

ELECTION ISSUE

President Barack Obama, who attended a fund-raiser in New York on Thursday for Gay Pride Week, has a nuanced stance on gay issues. Experts say he could risk alienating large portions of the electorate if he came out strongly in favor of such matters as gay marriage before the 2012 elections.
During the 2008 election, Obama picked up important support from Evangelicals, Catholics, Latinos and African-Americans, some of whom oppose gay marriage, which has become a contentious social issue being fought state-by-state.
In California a judge last year overturned a ban on gay marriage, but no weddings can take place while the decision is being appealed. It could set national policy if the case reaches the U.S. Supreme Court.

Connecticut, Iowa, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont and the District of Columbia allow same-sex marriage, and Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois and New Jersey approved civil unions. The first legal same-sex marriages in the United States took place in Massachusetts in 2004.
But gay marriage is banned in 39 states.
In New York a recent Siena poll found 58 percent of New Yorkers support gay marriage, while nationally the U.S. public is nearly evenly split, with 45 percent in favor and 46 percent opposed, according to a Pew Research poll released last month.
New York City's marketing and tourism group NYC & Company said it was gearing up to turn the city into "the gay weddings destination." "The new legislation is good news for the City's $31 billion travel and tourism industry," said NYC & Company Chief Executive George Fertitta.
New York's Democrat-dominated Assembly voted 80-63 in favor of gay marriage last week and passed the amended legislation on Friday 82-47.
 
A key sticking point had been over an exemption that would allow religious officials to refuse to perform services or lend space for same-sex weddings. Most Republicans were concerned the legal protection was not strong enough, so legislative leaders worked with Cuomo to amend his original bill.
"God, not Albany, settled the definition of marriage a long time ago," said Senator Ruben Diaz Sr., a Pentecostal minister and the only Democrat to vote against the measure.
However, fears of a slew of litigation arising from a possible religious exemption to New York's proposed same-sex marriage law are not borne out by experience with similar laws in other states, legal experts say.

While praying, I was led to wrote these words...

There comes a time and an hour when the whole earth will be shaken and every man will gasp with fear and believe not their eyes. This day is close, closer than you may think; the day terror will rain on the face of the earth. Then the people will run around in circles, confused and they will see no outcome. This will not only happen in Israel, but will be across the whole world....everybody will see Me...My power and My strength.

Everybody will know that it is to late and those who do not know Me will fall into a state of panic and their legs will grow weak. They will flee in their confusion and seek for an outcome but My hand will be pulled back till the very end. They will embrace the Enemy’s aid and be like puppets following the strong. But My people will hear My Voice and follow Me wherever I lead them through the wilderness.

Like as in the days of Noah, so shall it be... Like in the days of Moses and Elijah, so shall it be... The Enemy shall come and fear will overpower people seeing things they have seen in Movies. The Enemy shall come in his power, strength and majesty causing people to follow him through fear and panic, becoming like clay in his hands.

My people, the flock of My pastures shall see Me and hear Me, they will follow like Israel followed Moses. They will find their rest and peace in Me.

The Enemy will seek out My prophets, hunt them down and kill them, the Watchman I have anointed and called to fulfil My purpose. But I will lead my people and those who follow Me will not be entrapped by the Enemy, but they will find their peace in Me.

The heavens will be shaken and you will see things more dramatic than you can ever imagine, all the things spoken of in My Word.

I will stretch out my hand to those who know Me, those who follow Me. The time is close and you must prepare your selves for the time that is to come. Do not lean on your own strength or provision, I will look after you. Like I did with Israel, I will I feed you and nourish you with water from a rock. You will see that I am the Almighty and that My Word is true.

Everything will happen again like it did in the past, parallel and compact...history upon history...time upon time...the waves of prophecy will overcome you as I make My Word true through your lives. You will see that I am YHVH and that there are no other than Me. Those who will follow the Enemy will see that I am God and that there is no one higher than Me.

I will laugh from on high, from the heaven, as I trample My enemies under My feet. Follow Me and live...follow the Enemy and become like dust under My feet. You will be a testimony of My Power.

Prepare! The time is near! I come with fire in my hands and will cast it down onto the earth to cleanse it from all unrighteousness and to prepare the way for My Presence. I come and My coming is near! Tell people let them know, it will soon be to late!

Everybody will see that I am the End, the One that brings an end to all unrighteousness and Who cleanses everything. They will see that I am the Beginning, the One Who will restore everything and make it new like I planned it to be in the beginning.

Be part of My Plan, take My hand and I will lead you through the Jordan, so that you can taste My rest and my peace, so that you can be with Me forever.

You are invited and my invitation stands. Call the poor, the blind, the cripple and those who can’t hear. Call them and let them come close, for the Feast Table is prepared and My Father awaits the arrival of His children coming home. I knock, open up! The Door will soon close and those on the outside will note taste My peace. Come, while there is still time. Crown Me as your King and I will make you My Bride. I love you and await your answer. Some Methodist clergy defy gay marriage ban

What part of Romans 1:18-32 do these gay pastors not understand!!! 

This is NOT me being over religious, this is what God says in His Word!!!

Yahshua/Jesus said that you will know them by their fruits and these men who profess to believe in the God of the Bible are blind and misleading the people.  Yahweh/God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob said that He shows no partiality with men but requires all men to repent (turn back in obeying His Word - Romans 2: ¹¹ For there is no partiality with God.)  HOMOSEXUALITY IS an ABOMINATION before the Almighty!  He desires none to perish but to be saved and that is why Yahshua/Jesus died for the whole world, so whoever would believe in Him would be saved!  He desires these men and women who burn in passion for the same sex to repent of their disobedience and to turn back to Him, believe on the Name of Yahshua/Jesus and be saved.  God loves the people but He hates the sin!

Yahweh/God WILL NOT TOLERATE Sin/disobedience in His camp and because of these men and women, the name of God is blasphemed in all the earth!  Sodom and Gamorrah was judged, this generation will be judged if we DO NOT turn back to Yahweh in repentance!!!

Romans 2

MILWAUKEE – A growing number of pastors in the United Methodist Church say they're no longer willing to obey a church rule that prohibits them from officiating at same-sex marriages, despite the potential threat of being disciplined or dismissed from the church.
In some parts of the U.S., Methodist pastors have been marrying same-sex couples or conducting blessing ceremonies for same-sex unions for years with little fanfare and no backlash from the denomination. Calls to overturn the rule have become increasingly vocal in recent weeks, ratcheting up the pressure for the Methodist church to join other mainline Protestant denominations that have become more accepting of openly gay leaders.

While trials of pastors who conduct same-gender ceremonies have only occurred once every several years, the threat is indeed real. The Rev. Amy DeLong of Osceola in western Wisconsin faces a three-day trial starting Tuesday in Kaukauna on two charges: violating a church prohibition on the ordination of "self-avowed practicing homosexuals" and marrying a lesbian couple.
The jury for the church trial will be selected from a pool of Wisconsin United Methodist clergy. A total of 13 clergy will be chosen to serve during the trial and penalty phase.
DeLong said she told her supervisors years ago that she was in a lesbian relationship and felt comforted by the support and caring she received in response.

While she avoided discussing her relationship in local church settings, she said her efforts to live halfway in the closet and halfway out took such a toll that she finally decided to break her silence. She agreed to marry a lesbian couple in the fall of 2009, and she didn't mince words when she reported it in a required ministerial report a few months later. Eventually the two church charges were filed against her.
"I would be lying if I said this process hasn't been difficult, but I also feel called to break the silence and tell my own truth regardless of the consequences," said DeLong, 44. "When I entered (the ministry) I did not suspend my conscience. It's incumbent on me not to perpetuate its unjust laws."
The chances of getting the rule reversed within the Methodist church are far from certain, however. Rule changes must be approved by delegates at the church's General Conference, held every four years. Because a growing number of delegates come from Africa, the Philippines and other theologically conservative regions, voting patterns reflect strong resistance to change.
That hasn't stopped Methodist clergy in the U.S. from raising the stakes. Hundreds of pastors from areas including Illinois, Minnesota, New York and New England have signed statements in recent weeks asserting their willingness to defy the rule.

Those who do so could be charged with violating denominational law and forced to face a church trial. Penalties could include defrocking or suspension from the ministry.
At a conference this month in Minnesota, the Rev. Bruce Robbins of the Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church invited clergy to sign a statement saying they'd be willing to conduct any wedding, not just heterosexual ones. He said more than 70 signed it.
Robbins said he was driven to a sense of urgency because efforts are under way to have Minnesota's constitution limit civil marriages to heterosexual couples.
"One of the tragedies is, there are so many things we should be attending to: poverty issues, justice issues," he said. "I wish this didn't have to be at the center of our efforts today. But it is because of the inequality, the unfairness of the policy."

Similar efforts in New York this month drew signatures from more than 140 clergy and another 500 signatures of support from lay people, according to an organizer. Another 100 clergy did the same in New England, and at least a dozen there have actually conducted same-sex marriages with no complaints.
Organizers in northern Illinois gathered about 200 pastor signatures on June 10 but took an extra step, as well. Because the jurors in church trials come from a pool of clergy members within the same geographical region, the northern Illinois clergy members passed a nonbinding agreement that any jury that convicts a pastor recommend a penalty no stronger than a 24-hour suspension.
"It's not something we can dictate to the jury but it's a suggestion of how we can both honor rules of the church law and also honor Jesus's teaching about inclusivity," said Ermalou Roller, a retired pastor in the Northern Illinois Conference.

Theologically conservative Methodists believe that the Bible bars same-sex relationships and have been advocating for years to keep the prohibition against same-gender marriage in the Methodist's Book of Discipline. Just last month, the Methodist Judicial Council, the denomination's highest court, upheld the ban on same-gender marriage and clergy who are "self-avowed practicing homosexuals."
An executive with an advocacy group for conservative mainline Protestants said he didn't expect the provision would be changed anytime soon. Mark Tooley, the president of The Institute on Religion and Democracy, said it would either have to be overturned by a vote of the whole worldwide delegation, or the delegation would have to allow the U.S. delegation to set rules specifically for itself. Neither option has historically gained much traction, he said.
Although DeLong's case has been drawing widespread attention, it's not the only reason that momentum has been building to overturn the prohibition. A number of Methodist clergy say it violates the church's social-justice teachings, and they say they're stepping up their efforts in part because national attitudes toward discrimination against gays and lesbians are becoming more enlightened. Same-sex marriage is now legal in Connecticut, Iowa, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont and Washington, D.C.
One retired pastor in Massachusetts has been defying the same-sex-wedding ban for more than 10 years without drawing any complaints and has no plans to stop. The Rev. Richard Harding, 85, said the church is only hurting itself by driving away both talented clergy and younger members who think the policy is out of touch.
 
"I'm getting on in years and I may not see the change but there's definitely an uprising taking place," he said. "There are signs that the pole of justice is beginning to lean the proper way. I think we'll see even more of this. We aren't going to go away."

One of South Africa's leading economists Christ Hart has warned that the economy will not remain sheltered from what is happening in the rest of the world.

There is currently a massive fallout as Europe forced the Greek government to impose austerity measures to mitigate the country's escalating debt and guarantee loan paybacks.

Hart said he is convinced local consumers will have to curb their spending even more.
"With the turmoil that we have seen in the global economy, it means that people probably will button their belts and should tighten their belts even if the economic circumstances look a bit better," he said.

China raises flood alert to top level, 555,000 evacuated

BEIJING(Reuters) - China has mobilized troops to help with flood relief and raised its disaster alert to the highest level after days of downpours forced the evacuation of more than half a million people in central and southern provinces.

More than 555,000 people had been evacuated in seven provinces and a municipality after rains in recently drought-stricken areas caused floods and mudslides in the Yangtze River basin, the official China Daily said.

State media said that as of Thursday evening, floods caused by the most recent four days of rain had resulted in 19 deaths and left seven missing in Anhui, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Hubei, Hunan, Sichuan and Guizhou provinces and Chongqing municipality.

China raised its disaster alert to the highest level 4, and the government is describing the floods in some areas, such as eastern Zhejiang province's Qianting River area, as the worst since 1955.

Two dikes in the province were breached on Thursday, flooding two towns and 21 villages, Xinhua news agency said.

The official death toll caused by floods and mudslides since June 3 has not been updated since Wednesday, when state media said at least 105 people had been killed and 65 were missing.

Forecasters warned on Thursday that in the coming days rain could bring fresh danger, including in the southwest. The downpours are not expected to ease until Sunday.

In Jiangxi province in the east, troops helped 122,400 residents move from vulnerable, low-lying areas, the China News Service reported on Thursday.

State media have not given a total number of troops mobilized for the relief effort.

In central Hubei province, downpours two days ago triggered a landslide that left six people missing and blocked the Pingdu River, forcing 2,000 residents to flee in case a wall of water burst through the mud and debris.

Heavy rain floods part of east Australia; 2K flee

Heavy rain has caused flooding in eastern Australia that has forced 2,000 people to leave their homes and isolated thousands of other residents.
Michael Gallacher, the emergency services minister for New South Wales, declared some northern parts of the state disaster areas Wednesday. Heavy rain has fallen for three days and more was expected overnight.
Greg Gill of New South Wales emergency services described flooded areas as "just a sea of water" and said 10,000 people were isolated. Many roads are impassable, and swollen rivers are still rising.
Police reported one death, a driver killed when a tree fell and struck his car Wednesday morning.

David's Comment: Isaac & Ishmael Can Love Each OtherGen 25:9  And his sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah, which is before Mamre, in the field of Ephron the son of Zohar the Hittite,  (NKJ)
Josie and I are now back on Mt Carmel after a 10 day ministry tour of the UK.  Most of my speaking tours revolve around revisiting to churches where i have been before and taking the Israel message to churches where I haven't been before. This time was different in that most of the meetings were in new places, one of them part of a denomination whose leadership is deceived by Replacement Theology.   One disappointment was that I was scheduled to speak to a Korean group, but they cancelled at the last minute.  However the Lord must have had a different plan in mind, as friend in London kindly arranged for me to speak to an Arab church in a suburb of London - thank you Lord and thank you David.

I have only spoken to my Arab half brothers or cousins once before.  It was during the 2nd Intifada, when there was much friction between the Arabs & Jews here in Israel.  I was invited to speak to an Arab congregation in the Gallilee town of Shefaram and it went very well.  At the end of my message, as I returned to my seat, an elderly Arab Christian grabbed my arm and said "We will need each other in the days to come."  As we know from the Bible account, Hagar and Ishmael were pushed out of the tent and that night I felt the Lord show me that one day He would use Messianic Jews to reach out a hand of reconcilliation to the descendants of Ishmael to invite him back into the tent.  Form that time I have had a desire to share the Word with my Arab brethren and even more challenging, one day to share the Gospel with Muslims.

When David emailed me about the opportunity to speak to this Arab congregation in London I immediately said yes to the offer. Josie and I were met at the train station by Pastor Sameh and his wife and we got to know each other a little as we drove to the church for the meeting.  After enjoying a lovely time of worship - all in Arabic - with Egyptians, Syrians and Iraquis,  I was invited to give the message.  I shared a little of my testimony and told them about our congregation - Carmel Assembly - where the One New Man - Jews, Arabs and people from the nations serve and worship the Holy One of Israel and His Anointed One ....  Yeshua. 

I shared about the reality of the Arab / Israeli conflict -  that it isn't really between Arabs and Jews, because many African and Asian countries hate Israel as much if not more than some of the Arab countries.  This conflict is actually an Islamic / Judeo-Christian issue.  I also said that if the Arab countries ceased spending much of their massive oil revenues on weapons to destroy their Jewish cousins, then the whole Middle East could look like Dubai.  As I closed I played our daughter-in law Keren's song in Hebrew (Kadosh Ata).   Can you picture it ?  -  Egyptians, Syrians & Iraqis and 2 Jews all worshipping the Lord in Hebrew  -  it was truly amazing.  The people all seemed to love it and I am sure the God of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob loved seeing and hearing the descendants of the patriachs singing to Him in Hebrew in true New Testament unity.

Before leaving for the next meeting we enjoyed refreshments & good fellowship together - the desendants of Isaac and the descendants of Ishmael. I think I can speak for everyone there that it was an amazing time and I want to thank David and Pastor Sameh for the opportunity to bless the other side of the family.  Abraham must have been rejoicing !!!

Would you please pray that the Lord will open up many more doors for us to minister to the Arab people, Christian & Muslim in the days ahead.
As the capital city of Israel is facing yet another attempt to divide it, the European Coalition for Israel, together with a network of respected international prayer leaders, is calling for prayer for a united Jerusalem.

On June 1st a campaign to advocate for a united Jerusalem and a negotiated, just and lasting peace agreement in the Middle East was launched in the European Parliament in Brussels. Today, on the June 7th, which also marks Jerusalem Day according to the Gregorian calendar, a call for Prayer will be issued on a global level. Together with prayer leaders from around the world, ECI is asking believers not only to pray for a united Jerusalem, but also for their own national governments, as they will soon have to vote on the issue of a unilateral declaration of a Palestinian state at the upcoming United Nation General Assembly in New York, starting on September 19th. The campaign concludes that a unilateral declaration would in fact divide Jerusalem and is illegal according to international law.

The call reads. �History demonstrates that only Jewish sovereignty over the holy sites in Jerusalem will keep the city open for people of all faiths, Muslims as well as Christians. In this respect, Jerusalem is already a ’shared capital’, though under the sovereignty of the Jewish state. Both International Law and the Word of God confirm that Jerusalem belongs historically to the Jews. This does not contradict the fact that there is also a place for others, something that has been brilliantly demonstrated by the Israeli Government since they recaptured East Jerusalem in 1967. During the Jordanian rule of East Jerusalem (1949-1967) Jews did not have access to their holy sites in the Old City and many of their synagogues were destroyed. Under Jewish oversight however, the city has remained open for people of all religious affiliations."

The campaign will encourage believers to pray daily for the peace of Jerusalem as well as for their own governments - that they will firmly respect Jewish sovereignty over Jerusalem and will not further divide the land. Nearer to the date of the UN meeting in New York, more information will be given as to how believers can be involved in intercession as well as during the week of the UN General Assembly meeting in New York itself.

1.Water Found Beneath Jerusalem     David Dolan   June 16th  Construction workers in Jerusalem have discovered a large underground cave full of fresh flowing water.   Officials say it is the most substantial underground water reservoir ever uncovered in the land. Scientists from Hebrew University who have been exploring the cave say it’s located about 150 feet below the ground.   It appears to be around 30 feet high and stretches for some distance before cascading into the mountain aquifer that exists below the hills of Judea and Samaria.   The cave was uncovered while workers were drilling a shaft into the ground in preparation for a new subway railroad that will run from Jerusalem to Israel’s Ben Gurion international airport and the nearby city of Tel Aviv.   Officials say the planned subway line will probably have to be built elsewhere as a result of the huge fresh water discovery underneath the current site of the central Jerusalem bus station.  The cave also runs below the city’s largest public auditorium where the annual Christian Feast of Tabernacles celebration is held every autumn.  Officials say the potable water discovery is almost as good as finding large oil deposits or gold.  Lets give the Lord thanks & praise for supplying all of Israel's water & energy needs
2. Growing Oppostion to Obama's Demand for Pre 67 Borders   Israel Today News   June 10    Prominent US Senators on Thursday threw another wrench in the Middle East peace plans of President Barack Obama when they proposed a new resolution opposing an Israeli withdrawal to its pre-1967 borders.  The draft resolution presented by senators Orrin Hatch and Joe Lieberman states that "it is contrary to United States policy and national security to have the borders of Israel return to the armistice lines that existed on June 4, 1967."     Echoing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the senators insisted that the 1967 borders were indefensible, and invited Arab attacks on the narrow Jewish state.   The resolution is supported by at least 30 other senators, and possibly many more.  The resolution comes just weeks after a joint session of Congress made the extraordinary move of providing a foreign leader - Netanyahu - with a platform to oppose the policies of the US president. Congress was unhappy that just days prior to Netanyahu's address Obama had publically called for Israel to return to its pre-1967 borders for the sake of peace.  Analysts noted that Obama's statements had for the first time turned Arab demands that peace be based on a full and complete Israeli withdrawal the official policy of the White House.  Please pray that Obama's vision will be a total non-event3. Hizbollah Increases Control in Lebanon   Israel Today News June 14th    While the international community remains excited about the perceived spread of democracy in the Middle East, one of the region's only true democracies is now fully under the control of Islamist radicals.  Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati on Monday finally announced his new cabinet, and it is made up primarily of Hizballah representatives and their allies.  Of the 30 cabinet ministers, 19 belong either to Hizballah or to smaller Christian parties that are allied with the Muslim terrorists.  Mikati himself, despite being a Sunni Muslim, was the prime ministerial candidate supported by the Shiite Hizballah after former Prime Minister Saad Hariri resigned in protest over the Islamists' growing power. On Monday, Hariri slammed the new government as a "Hizballah government."    Syrian government officials praised the formation of the new Hizballah-dominiated cabinet, which is also expected to strengthen ties between Lebanon and the Iranian regime.  Please pray that the northern border remains quiet for as long as possibleArabs and leftists hurled rocks at IDF soldiers in southern Samaria Wednesday, breaking the leg of one of the soldiers. The soldier whose leg was broken was evacuated and received first aid. That is why humanitarian aid flotillas regularly try to break the heinous Israeli blockade of the Hamas-ruled territory.   At least, that's what the international media wants its viewers to believe. Stories of suffering sell more newspapers and advertising slots, after all.   But once again, the truth that Gaza is no better or worse off than anywhere else in the Middle East has been revealed in a series of photographs showing local residents enjoying the opening of a new water amusement park.  The park, which features massive water slides, rides for children and luscious green lawns is located in the southern Gaza town of Khan Younis, which is often referred to by mainstream media outlets as a "refugee camp."   Nor is the Khan Younis water park the only one of its kind in Gaza. In September of last year, Israel Todayr eported on the popular and luxurious "Crazy Water Park" in Gaza City after it became the target of Hamas fanatics intent on maintaining image of Gaza as a place of squalor.
   Also last year, Gaza City became home to a new luxury shopping mall that rivals those in Tel Aviv.    With such amenities popping up in a region that purportedly has less than nothing, a few rare foreign journalists started to notice that something was amiss, and to report the truth.   Last summer, a prominent Washington Post reporter revealed that grocery stores in Gaza are "stocked wall-too-wall with everything from fresh Israeli yogurts and hummus to Cocoa Puffs smuggled in from Egypt. Pharmacies look as well-supplied as a typical Rite Aid in the United States."  That despite the fact that Gaza continues to receive enormous amounts of humanitarian aid, enough to nearly feed and care for the entire population for free.   Even Arab journalists began to expose the Gaza lie, such as when Egyptian reporter Ashraf Al-Houl wrote that "the sight of merchandise and luxuries filling Gaza shops amazed me."   Al-Houl went on to note that "a sense of absolute prosperity prevails, as manifested by the grand resorts along and near Gaza's coast."Please pray that the worlds recognises the true situation in Gaza. BREAKING NEWS: 4 Killed in Building Explosion in Netanya     Ha Aretz News   June 17Four people were killed and over 88 were injured in a explosion early Friday morning in an apartment building in downtown Netanya. The circumstances surrounding the explosion are still unclear, but first estimates indicate that the damage was the result of a gas explosion.  Major damage was caused to the apartment building and to other nearby buildings on Herzl Street in Netanya's Independence Square, an area frequented by many tourists. Chile volcano ash may disrupt air travel for months

SANTIAGO (Reuters) - A towering ash cloud spewing from a volcano in south-central Chile could disrupt air traffic for some time as the eruption shows no signs of stabilizing in the near term, experts said on Tuesday.Ash from a volcano in Chile's Puyehue-Cordon Caulle chain that erupted on June 4 after decades lying dormant has forced the sporadic cancellation of hundreds of flights, especially in neighboring Argentina and Uruguay.
Flights as far away as Australia have been grounded because of the ash, which can damage jet engines, and the chaos in South America has buffeted airlines including Chile's LAN and Brazil's TAM and Gol.

"There are no signs that the situation is going to change or stabilize in the short term", said Enrique Valdivieso, director of Chile's national service of geology and mining (Sernageomin).
"Fine ash, like we have seen from this latest eruption, could last (in the air) for months. If the ash column continues to measure up to 5.5 miles, it can spread easily. The higher the ash, the more it is blown elsewhere."

He said it was hard to predict how long the ash cloud would continue to affect flights. If the eruption intensifies, it could increase the amount of ash belched into the atmosphere.
Brazilian authorities said the volcanic ash had reached the southern cities of Porto Alegre and Florianopolis.
Airports in Buenos Aires were expected to start reopening late on Tuesday as the ash cloud dissipated and activity was gradually resuming at Uruguay's main international airport.
Air travel in northern Europe and Britain was hit last month after Iceland's most active volcano at Grimsvotn sent a thick plume of ash and smoke 15.5 miles into the sky.
In April last year, the eruption of another Icelandic volcano, Eyjafjallajokull, led to 100,000 canceled flights, affecting 10 million people at a cost of $1.7 billion.

Chilean volcanoes tend to spew more ash than European volcanoes like Iceland's, because the magma is thicker and rises more slowly. As a result more ash is expelled.
"If we take the case of Chile's Lonquimay volcano in 1989, the plume lingered for about two months," said Felipe Aguilera, a volcanologist at Universidad de Atacama.
It was the latest in a series of volcanic eruptions in Chile in recent years. Chile's Chaiten volcano erupted spectacularly in 2008 for the first time in thousands of years, spewing molten rock and a vast cloud of ash that reached the stratosphere.

The Llaima volcano, one of South America's most active, erupted in 2008 and 2009.
Chile's chain of about 2,000 volcanoes is the world's second-largest after Indonesia. Some 50 to 60 are on record as having erupted, and 500 are potentially active.

This weekend, dozens upon dozens of the wealthiest and most powerful people in the world will be gathering behind closed doors at a luxury hotel in Switzerland.
All of the participants are sworn to secrecy and swarms of heavily armed security guards are making sure that nobody unauthorized gets in.  Decisions will be made at this meeting which will fundamentally change our future.  The CEO of Amazon.com will be there, as will the head of Google, one of the co-founders of Facebook and one of the top executives from Microsoft. 

The president of the EU will be in attendance, along with the president of the World Bank, the president of the European Central Bank, the head of the World Trade Organization and the top commander of NATO.  Henry Kissinger and David Rockefeller will be there.  Royalty from all over Europe will be attending as well.  Past attendees have included several U.S. presidents, Ben Bernanke, Timothy Geithner, Prince Charles, current British Prime Minister David Cameron, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Hillary Clinton, Bill Gates and current Texas governor Rick Perry.  You would think that these meetings would be something that the mainstream media would want to cover.  But unfortunately, the mainstream media mostly ignores the Bilderberg Group meetings, and if they do cover them they just crack a bunch of jokes about “conspiracy theories” and they do their best to play down the importance of the meetings.

Under normal circumstances, a gathering of top executives from Google, Facebook and Microsoft would have the media salivating.  So would a gathering of some of the most important international politicians on the globe.
So why doesn’t the mainstream media want to talk about the Bilderberg Group?
From June 9th to June 12th, over a hundred of the most powerful people on the planet will meet in utter secrecy and will discuss the future of the world.
All of the participants have been sworn not to reveal what is discussed.
Yet this doesn’t interest the mainstream media at all?

Every year since 1954, the Bilderberg Group has been holding these meetings.  For years, even the existence of this group was denied.  On U.S. talk shows anyone that dared to suggest that the Bilderberg Group existed was mocked as a “conspiracy theorist”.
Well, in recent years the alternative news has brought so much attention to the Bilderberg Group that everyone finally admits that, yes, the Bilderberg Group really does exist.
But now the mainstream media does everything they can to downplay the importance of the organization.
They suggest that anyone that believes that there is anything wrong with dozens of the most powerful people on the planet meeting in utter secrecy to discuss the future course of world events is “crazy”.
If the Bilderberg Group is so unimportant, then why would people like Bill Clinton, Prince Charles, David Cameron, Tony Blair, Henry Kissinger, Bill Gates, Angela Merkel, Ben Bernanke, Tim Geithner, Rick Perry, David Rockefeller, Herman van Rompuy, Jean-Claude Trichet, Jeff Bezos, Chris R. Hughes, Eric Schmidt, Craig J. Mundie, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, Richard Perle, Paul Volcker, Lawrence Summers, Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden take the time to attend?

But the mainstream media acts like all of this is no big deal.

#3 Time Magazine: A vestige of the Cold War, the only drawback of the meeting could be that the Chinese and the Russians are still missing.
#4 Forbes: Admittedly, it’s fascinating that some secret society, like the Wizard of Oz, choreographs events on a global stage. Puppet masters of the public’s fate. Conspiracy theories punctuate the otherwise mundane din of modern life, but riveting as it all appears, I’m not buying it. Would they? Absolutely. Could they? Implausible.
#5 Fox News: But the secretive nature of the meetings, that first began in 1954, has sparked countless conspiracy theories by those who believe the group is trying to form a new world order of sorts.
#6 CNBC: Its secrecy only serves to add fuel to the innumerate conspiracy theories that circulate around the event, with Internet message boards often channelling Da Vinci Code author Dan Brown and putting the “club” in the same bracket as the Freemasons and “Illuminati.”
#7 BBC News: Secret cabals extend beyond the Bilderberg Group. The Illuminati, which derives from a 16th Century Bavarian secret society, is alleged to be an all powerful secret society, including US presidents, that has controlled major world events. The Freemasons – famous for their peculiar handshakes – is a secret fraternity society that has become more open in recent years after extensive criticism.
#8 The Baltimore Sun: I suppose the Bilderberg Group, which was founded in 1954 at the Hotel Bilderberg in Holland, can supply us with a few thrills while we wait for Dan Brown to knock out another book. But a hotel in St. Moritz — especially one that features Teddy’s World for kids — doesn’t seem like the place to plot world domination. Shouldn’t they be meeting in a secret underground lair?
#9 NBC Affiliate KETK: If you believe Mafia hitmen hired by Castro killed JFK, or President Clinton was involved in murder, or George W. Bush planned 9-11…then this story is for you. Look, the truth is that dozens of the most powerful people on the planet are not meeting in utter secrecy just to play poker and smoke cigars.

They are having very real discussions that will have a very real influence on the direction of world events.
If that doesn’t fit in with how you prefer to view the world, that is too bad.  The ultra-elite are going to keep on doing what they are doing whether you acknowledge them or not.
In fact, they would very much prefer for most people to keep on ignoring them because that makes it so much easier for them to achieve their goals.

Sadly, most Americans will completely ignore the Bilderberg Group in 2011 because the mainstream media is telling them that it is not an important event.

THERE IS NO PRE-TRIBULATION RAPTURE

Whenever a Christian encounters a doctrine that has not been taught by anyone in any branch of Christ’s church for over eighteen centuries, one should be very suspect of that teaching. This fact in and of itself does not prove that the new teaching is false. But, it should definitely raise one’s suspicions, for if something is taught in Scripture, it is not unreasonable to expect at least a few theologians and exegetes to have discovered it before. The teaching of a secret pre-tribulation rapture is a doctrine that never existed before 1830. Did the pre-tribulation rapture come into existence by a careful exegesis of Scripture? No. The first person to teach the doctrine was a young woman named Margaret Macdonald. Margaret was not a theologian or Bible expositor but was a prophetess in the Irvingite sect (the Catholic Apostolic Church). Christian journalist Dave MacPherson has written a book on the subject of the origin of the pre-tribulation rapture. He writes: “We have seen that a young Scottish lassie named Margaret Macdonald had a private revelation in Port Glasgow, Scotland, in the early part of 1830 that a select group of Christians would be caught up to meet Christ in the air before the days of Antichrist. An eye-and-ear witness, Robert Norton M.D., preserved her handwritten account of her pre-trib rapture revelation in two of his books, and said it was the first time anyone ever split the second coming into two distinct parts or stages. His writings, along with much other Catholic Apostolic Church literature, have been hidden many decades from the mainstream of Evangelical thought and only recently surfaced. Margaret’s views were well-known to those who visited her home, among them John Darby of the Brethren. Within a few months her distinctive prophetic outlook was mirrored in the September, 1830 issue of The Morning Watch and the early Brethren assembly at Plymouth, England. Early disciples of the pre-trib interpretation often called it a new doctrine.”2

     John Nelson Darby (1800-1882), who was the leader of the Brethren movement and the “father of modern Dispensationalism,” took Margaret Macdonald’s new teaching on the rapture, made some changes (she taught a partial rapture of believers while he taught that all believers would be raptured) and incorporated it into his Dispensational understanding of Scripture and prophecy. Darby would spend the rest of his life speaking, writing and traveling, spreading the new rapture theory. The Plymouth Brethren openly admitted and were even proud of the fact that among their teachings were totally new ones which had never been taught by the church fathers, medieval scholastics, Protestant Reformers or the many commentators.

     The person most responsible for the rather widespread acceptance of Pretribulationalism and Dispensationalism among Evangelicals is Cyrus Ingerson Scofield (1843-1921). C. I. Scofield published his Scofield Reference Bible in 1909. This Bible, which espoused the doctrines of Darby in its notes, became very popular in Fundamentalist circles. In the minds of many a Bible teacher, fundamentalist pastor and multitudes of professing Christians, Scofield’s notes were practically equated with the word of God itself. If a person did not adhere to the Dispensational, Pretribulational scheme he or she would almost automatically be labeled a modernist.

     Today there is a whole plethora of books advocating the pretribulation rapture theory and the Dispensational understanding of the end times. Given the fact that among professing Christians the pre-trib rapture is still wildly popular, a comparison of this theory with scriptural teaching is warranted. We will see that the typical arguments offered in favor of this theory are in conflict with the Bible.

Many Pastors preach and base the whole Pre-tribulation rapture theory on one Scripture, the following;

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

The Comfort of Christ’s Coming

13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.[b]

15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.

Yes, I agree, there will be a snatching away to meet our Precious Saviour in the air but let us go to Matthew 24 to see when this event will take place.  If you read the whole book of 1 Thessalonians and what Paul was saying to the Thessalonians, he was trying to encourage them in their faith.  He was encouraging them that no matter what they go through there will be a day when they will be redeemed to meet their King in the air. 

Remember we need scripture to confirm with scripture, two or three witnesses. 

Matthew 24: 2-14 – NOTE: The following verses speak of the beginning of birth pains.  Yahshua/Jesus said to His disciples that there would be earthquakes, wars, famines and the love of many would grow cold.  These events will be the event of birth pains and the start of the tribulation coming upon the face of the earth.

3 Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”

4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. 6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all[a]these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. (NOTE: notice the escalation of these events in our day)

9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. (NOTE: NO pre-tribulation rapture, some believers will be killed) 10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. (NOTE: Why would we have to endure if the Believers were raptured out of the mess) 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

Matthew 24: 15-27 – NOTE: These few verses explain that the Anti-Christ will appear after the above events have unfolded and will take place according to the Book of Daniel.  The Anti-Christ is evident even now in all the world but according to Daniel, Matthew and Revelations One Man will govern the nations having created the One World Babylon System/Rome.  After the Anti-Christ and the One World System has set itself in the Holy Place of Yahweh, people must tremble and fear as great tribulation, disaster and distress will consume planet earth.  Those who are in Messiah Yahshua will not fear but have peace in the King.  Yahshua/Jesus promised His people that in Him we will have peace and we must remain faithful even unto death.

15 “Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), 16 “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17 Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house. 18 And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. 19 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! 20 And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. 21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. (NOTE: NO pre-tribulation rapture has taken place!!!). 22 And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.

23 “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. 24 For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you beforehand.

26 “Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it. 27 For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 28 For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together.

Matthew 24:29:31 – NOTE: These verses explain, AFTER THE EVENTS AS EXPLAINED IN VERSES 2-27 HAVE TAKEN PLACE, MEANING THE TRIBULATION HAS TAKEN PLACE, then Yahshua/Jesus will send His Angel with the sound of the trumpet and gather His elect from the four corners of the earth.

29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

In both Matthew 24 and 1 Thessalonians 4 it describes that a trumpet will sound and then the elect will be gathered from the four corners of the earth to meet with Yahshua/Jesus in the air.  Let us see what the two silvers trumpets were used for according to Scripture?

Numbers 10:1-10    The Silver Trumpets

The silver trumpet is the people’s instrument. “Make two silver trumpets from hammered silver.” This hammering signifies a molding process and silver indicates redemptive qualities. The Priests were in charge of blowing the trumpets. They were to be used to call the Twelve Tribes of Israel together and to signal the camp to move out.  When the two trumpets were sounded together, the whole community was to assemble at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting.  If only one was sounded only the leaders, the heads of the Tribes of Israel were to assemble.  When the trumpets were sounded for moving camp different blasts were used to notify which tribe was to move out. They were also to sound the trumpet going into battle in their own land. Yahweh/God would remember and rescue them from their enemies when He heard the trumpet sound the alarm.  We are to sound the trumpets for rejoicing at the Feasts of Yahweh, the New Moon Festival/Rosh Chodesh and over our elevation and fellowship offerings.

Who are Yahweh’s/God’s Priests and leaders today?  Scripture says that those whose lives are hidden in the Messiah and who teach the gospel; the differences between clean and unclean, holy and unholy according to Scripture and keep and teach Yahweh’s Feast days, Sabbaths and New Moon Festivals are Yeshua’s/Jesus’s Priests today. Those who walk in Yeshua’s/Jesus’s holy ways are called a royal Priesthood and a holy nation. Today blowing the two silver trumpets will call together the unity of believers in Yeshua (the whole House of Israel, all twelve tribes) but if we blow one silver trumpet we summon only leaders. (Exodus 19:5-6; Ezekiel 44:23-24; 1 Peter 2:9; Revelation 1:6)

NOTE: Yahshua/Jesus promised us eternal life in Him and we are to be encouraged that no matter what we go through in this life, we will have eternal peace with Him in His New Kingdom, the New Jerusalem.  He promised us that we would have peace in Him. He promised us His Holy Spirit Who would teach, lead and COMFORT US, that He would never leave nor forsake us. Yahshua/Jesus prayed and said, Father I pray that you do not take them out of the world but that you help them through it. 

Noah was hidden in the Ark but not taken out of the flood, Daniel was thrown into the Lion’s Den but he was protected.  Our faith in our King is going to be tested in the last days, we only need to stand firm even until death and receive the crown of life.

Revelation 14:12

12 Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of YAHWEH/God and the faith of Yeshua/Jesus.

James 1:12

[Loving YAHWEH/God Under Trials] Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. (NOTE: Yahshua/Jesus said, if you love Me, you will obey My Commandments)

Revelation 2:10

Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.

WE MUST BE FAITHFUL WHEN THESE THINGS COME UPON THE FACE OF THE EARTH, WE MUST REMAIN FAITHFUL TO OUR KING AND NOT DO AS ISRAEL DID WHEN THEY LEFT EGYPT.  ISRAEL EITHER WANTED TO STAND AND FIGHT, OR GO BACK TO EGYPT WITH THE EGYPTIANS OR KILL THEMSELVES BUT YAHWEH TOLD MOSES, WAIT, STAND STILL AND SEE MY HAND OF REDEMPTION.  NO MATTER WHAT WE ARE GOING TO FACE OR GO THROUGH, WE MUST REMAIN FAITHFUL.  NOTHING IS MORE REWARDING THEN THE KINGDOM OF YAHSHUA/JESUS TO COME AND THE PEACE AND JOY WE ARE GOING TO EXPERIENCE IN HIM!!!

READ THE BIBLE, IT WILL STRENGTHEN YOU, BE FOREVER ON YOUR KNEES AND PRAY AND BE SET-APART UNTO YAHWEH!  TURN AWAY FROM THE LUSTS OF THIS WORLD AND BE FAITHFUL TO THE COMMANDMENTS, INSTRUCTIONS OF OUR KING!
